Sometimes, when in the middle of taking the sharp edges off 384 pieces of unfired clay, I say to Pete, 'let's NEVER' do a ceramic project again'!
But when it's up, and you see the result, it all becomes worthwhile.
This project was done with our local Secondary school. I worked with the pupils getting design ideas, then, in small groups they drew their designs.
I then went in with the clay, and we made the 24 (yes, this image only shows half!) 60x60cm tiles.
The fun (!) bit was marking them, to make sure I could put it all together again after firing.
