The 'Light' workshop is where you can work with non-ferrous metals - ie gold, silver, copper, aluminium, brass etc, and where you can use PMC/Artclay, do enamelling and fire dichroic glass.

This is also where the lathes are, the draw-bench, milling machine and rolling mills.

So this is where jewellery is made, but also things like bowls, candle-holders etc., and small sculptures - we have had people make flowers, fish, pigs, a cat a couple of owls (one of which had candles in its eyes) and a whole host of other things too.
