Gomersal

Another lovely project where we worked closely with the local community to get the design for the sculpture, which was to commemorate the Gomersal Mine.
Then, when the sculpture was in place, we had slab making workshops with some of the miners who had worked down the mine - see right.
It was a real privilege to hear their tales - and the slabs show some of the stories and commemorate some of the people.
